Kristen's demise
When Kristen went downstairs towards the whine cellar, on her way to the secret room, she was followed by Susan. When Kristen entered the secret room, Susan closed the door behind her back. The two great rivals, Kristen and Marlena, were now stuck in the secret room together! Immediately they started a famous catfight. Susan had received an extensive makeover, she had her hair dyed Kristen's color and had other beauty treatments and of course, the false teeth to impersonate Kristen once again. Susan then began her charade and took over Kristen's place. "Kristen" and John got a visit from sister Mary Moira, who was looking for her sister Susan... But Susan managed to keep up the act. Susan did have one problem: she had to hid her Elvis tattoo so no one would find out she's not actually Kristen. Marlena and the real Kristen had to watch on the monitor when John and Susan -ofcourse pretending she was Kristen- made love. John admitted his feelings for Marlena to "Kristen" but said he was commited to her. When "Kristen" got a phone call from Stefano she fooled him too. In the secret room, Kristen and Marlena kept taunting each other. Stefano thought it was time to take his precious Marlena with him and returned to Salem. He gets into the whine cellar of the Mansion and is about to open the secret room. Then Abe and John show up and Stefano has to hide. "Kristen" is forced to help Stefano get out of the Mansion. Then John and "Kristen's" wedding day arrived. Vivian and Ivan had helped the real Kristen with the preparations for the wedding, but Susan had other plans. She wanted to have an Elvis themed wedding and had ordered adjusted costumes for everyone. Much to the surprise of John and friends, who still had no idea Susan was posing as Kristen.
Marlena and the real Kristen were using that piece of metal Marlena had once found to try and escape out of the secret room. Marlena did have a good laugh when she saw what was going on. In an attempt to get out of the secret room, Kristen hit the gas and she and Marlena fell asleep. After John and "Kristen" got married, Laura showed up at the wedding saying she remembered everything and she confronted "Kristen". Nobody believed Laura, but she and "Kristen" struggled. Susan's false teeth came loose and fell into Vivian's glass. Susan confessed everything and John saved Kristen and Marlena. Of course when Kristen came to she had a lot of explaining to do. She asked John to marry her right away, but when Marlena woke up too she told John the truth. Kristen did everything she could to convince John what Marlena said about her wasn't true. It looked like it was working as John said if he looked to the facts he had to believe Kristen. But then John said he had to listen to his heart. He said Marlena was the most honest woman he knows and believed Marlena. Kristen finally broke down and admitted everything. In a desperate attempt to avoid Marlena ending up with John, Kristen took the gun of one of the cops and held Marlena at gun-point. John got in front of Marlena and eventually took the gun away from Kristen. John fell in Marlena's arms and Kristen's demise was completed as she was taken away by the police for the crimes she committed.
