A scandal with a priest
Kristen had to move on. She let go of her anger towards John, but decided she wasn't finished with Marlena. Kristen would use Marlena's son, Father Eric, to hurt her. Dr Chyka provided Kristen with the means to drug Eric. Kristen slept with a drugged Eric and had arranged to video tape it. Eric didn't remember anything. Kristen was to show the video to bishop White at a school reception. Brady intervened with that, telling Kristen he wanted to try again. Kristen even had a pregnancy scare. She and Brady quickly grew close together again and he proposed for the second time. News of their reunion wasn't handled well by Marlena and Nicole. They orchestrated a plan which caused Kristen to lose the flash drive that contained a video of her and Eric having sex. Kristen hired a thug to get it back from Marlena. He lied to her, saying he got rid of it, when in truth he never got his hands on it. The flash drive was lost for a while, but Marlena got it back as the big day of Brady and Kristen's wedding approached. Victor helped Marlena getting past the pass word, so she could play the video on the day of the wedding. However, Victor chose not to tell Marlena Eric was the one Kristen slept with. Meanwhile, Eric was slowly starting to get his memory back. Luckily for Kristen he first suspected Nicole of drugging him. EJ found out everything Kristen had done when he heard her talking to Chyka. EJ was mad at his sister, but agreed to keep her secret. Marlena played the video at the wedding and was shocked to see Eric in it. Kristen's game was up and she tried to flee Salem. Nicole chased after her and both cars crashed heavily. Kristen survived the crash and was able to get away in time before the police arrived.
